Learn Camping – A new kind of holiday? For us it is the opportunity to tell you about the many different facets of South Tyrol in an entertaining, informative and relaxed way. You can learn about subjects such as the language, culture, nature, politics, history and people as well as about living in and enjoying South Tyrol.

In our opinion the most important thing is to put the idea into practice with vivid presentations and activities. We believe this to be a positive way to transform learning into an adventure and to arouse the desire to learn and experience more. Information is passed on via billboards, mini seminars, presentations, readings by South Tyrolean authors, in-house exhibitions with manufacturers of South Tyrolean products, information sheets and brochures and finally the unique “Learning Sanitary Block” in which our guests can find out about South Tyrol through a range of displays and large format pictures as they shower, do the dishes or brush their teeth.

Basically the concept is divided into “dynamic” and “static” parts. The “static” part consists of fixed elements such as information boards, the Learning Sanitary Block, the history exhibit in the Learning Cellar and more; the “dynamic” part includes the seminars, readings and film screenings etc.

This ensures that you will always be able to learn something about South Tyrol, even if you’re staying just one night. At the moment courses, seminars and readings are held in German only.
